A damn shame. Chris Kanyon died over the weekend. He was one of the first openly gay pros - got fired from the WWE after coming out and didn't get far in any other promotions since. Partly because WWE wouldn't let him continue to use the name, which he built up. My personal reaction includes some guilt. I had always wanted to write him a fan letter, expressing my admiration to him. But I never took the time to track down his email or web site to let him know how much he was appreciated. Maybe it would have helped, maybe not. A terrible loss. RIP man, and thank you.
Chris Klucsarits was 40. His death on Friday was an apparent suicide.
