Matt Taven, NEW Champ
On his 25th birthday, March 20, 2010, six-foot-two Matt Taven outfought and outlasted four other contenders in a five-way dance (Brian Anthony, Mike Bennett, Jason Blade, and Paul London) to win the Northeast Wrestling (NEW) Championship Title.
