Ring Ka King is a two-month-old Indian pro wrestling promotion. RKK started broadcasting in December of last year, and it looks a lot like its American parent company,
Impact Wrestling. Jeff Jarrett is in charge of the new promotion, whose talent (Indian and American) train at Ohio Valley Wrestling. Today's show featured British and American stars like Chavo Guerrero, Matt Morgan, Sir Brutus Magnus (Magnus at Impact), and Jimmy Rave, intermingling with Indian stars like Sonjay Dutt and young high-flyer Pagal Parinda (whose roots are in traditional Indian
kushti, or
pehlwani). Popular Indian cricket star Harbhajan Singh (nicknamed "The Turbanator") serves as the show's goodwill ambassador, acquainting the Indian audience with the roster and the ins and outs of North American-style pro wrestling.
