It's hard to believe that what looks like the strongest matchup on last Saturday's Combat Zone Wrestling card in Voorhees, New Jersey, came before the pay-per-view cameras started rolling. Superstar Adam Cole, who won CZW's Best of the Best tournament in 2011, was barred from this year's competition by his former trainer (and CZW owner) DJ Hyde. Before the show, Hyde introduced the crowd to his new and "upgraded" protege, muscular Tony Nese--"someone better looking, more talented, and with more exposure." Then, for the pleasure of the live crowd only, Cole and Nese battled it out, with the win ultimately going to Adam, who then told fans he is still the best of the best and quite possibly "the greatest of all time." By the way, at CZW Adam Cole is a heel, much detested by the fans. This is not the first time that Adam and Tony have locked horns. You can watch video of them going toe to toe back in January here. By the way, this year's tournament winner was Sami Callahan.
