Rainy Day Fun

I had intended to go to GOUGE's show last Saturday in Apex, North Carolina, but was kept from it by a prior commitment. The show ended up being rained out anyway, so some of the wrestlers worked a couple of custom matches for kicks in the storeroom of Highspots. Ring of Honor star Delirious wrestled Jake "the Man Scout" Manning, and Alex Avgerinos and Jeff Connelly teamed up against former ROH world champions Roderick Strong and Eddie Edwards. Fortunately, somebody taped the Avgerinos/Connelly vs Strong/Edwards match, which the rookies won, with a split-second pinning move by Alex on Eddie (you can watch the video here), and Blake Arledge caught the action in beautifully detailed action shots (see them all here).
