I've been wanting to get a few things off my chest. I don't know if now is the right time or this is the right place, but here goes. Beyond Wrestling is more anti-establishment than ECW ever was. We only started selling DVDs and running live shows to "legitimize." But what'd that really mean? It meant leaving ourselves vulnerable to the political agendas that hurt this industry's growth. We play to a much larger audience than others within our genre, thanks to improvements in technology and changing trends in media consumption. We lost sight of our goals by trying to "get bigger" in 2012, and that will change in 2013. We are not a promotion. We will stop pretending to be. Beyond Wrestling is a movement. Our positive contributions to wrestling outweigh our shortcomings. We don't need the approval of our peers. The scene will get worse before it gets better. When the nuclear fallout clears, we'll emerge from our underground bomb shelter, ready to replenish wrestling. We exist to give back to wrestling. We will continue to do that the only way we know how. Thank you for your continued devotion.
