Lock Up

Sugar Dunkerton and Aaron Epic (aka Lock Up) are Resistance Pro Wrestling's first tag team champions, after Sugar D pinned Jocephus Brody in a fatal four-way (eight-man) elimination match. The historic match opened the show aired this past Sunday, which you can watch in a "director's cut" here

Jocephus was paired with mega-hunk Steven Walters, who was eliminated just prior to the epic chop-fest between the last two men standing in the ring. The other competitors were P-Dawg Millionairz (brothers Shawn and Arya Daivari, my picks to win, but disqualified when an already eliminated Shawn interfered on behalf of Arya) and Rising Sun 2.1 (Lince Dorado and Emperado Azteca).

In prison jumpsuits, Aaron and Sugar were escorted to the event by Warden Myers. Aaron was the first man pinned and eliminated, and Myers handcuffed him to the turnbuckle for the remainder of the match. In the decisive showdown, the Warden tried to assist Sugar D by attacking Jocephus, but Sugar looked appalled by the unnecessary and illegal interference, preferring to win the fight fair and square. The battle continued a few minutes longer, and Sugar eventually knocked Jocephus out while the two were standing on the corner ropes and slugging it out. A triumphant pin put the pristine new belts into Lock Up's hands.
