The Boston

A wrestling classic, especially among fetishists, the Boston Crab Hold was called "the backbreaker" back when it was popular as a finisher. Now the single-leg variation on the Boston is the more common version of the hold because, I guess, of its use in mma events. The erotic appeal (it's big in women's and mixed-gender wrestling in particular) no doubt derives from the fact that it exposes the victim's crotch and displays the executor's butt to good advantage, and it helps that it looks like a good grunting butt fuck, only inverted. Though I prefer my pro wrestling untouched by irony, this hold more than others seems to invite parody.

  1. I think this is my favorite submission hold (to use, to be in, and to watch). It can legit be painful for the lower back, also the quads. But what I like most are 2 elements: if the recipient lacks the leg strength to power out, he is completely at the mercy of his tormentor; the move can go on forever, with the victim trying to squirm while writhing in pain. I love when a guy is slapping the mat but not released from the hold. Thanks for the pics, Joe!

    1. Total agreement here on how hot it is to make its victims completely helpless. Though I always wondered if upper body strength were not as equally important for the victim to pushup and arm-walk or stretch a hand out to the ropes.

    2. My guess -- and it's only a guess -- is it's from the Athletic Model Guild, ca. 1970. But a Google image search takes me only to other blogs, and I would think it would take me to AMG.

    4. I'm glad you enjoyed them. But I'm curious where you saw them. I know you from BoW, but you can't post Images there anymore than you can here. No biggie, just a little puzzled.

    5. You mentioned your FB page there so I checked it out.

Oh wow, there are comments with picture posts?

    6. Yeah, on a few blogs there are.

If you're interested I could send you copies of the e-mails I send often to Joe, bruno, and Alex Miller (too frequently, they might say) that usually include Images, sometime fantasies and story ideas. Just write me at aurandfillan.gmail.com so I have a return address. And feel free to Friend me.

BTW, my Photo Library has 11,601 Images, as of now, mostly wrestlers, bodybuilders, fitness models, TV and film actors, and a few porn stars.

  3. I've been wondering about the erotic appeal of moves like this too. My theory is that most if it has to do with vulnerability, especially with the bottom. It's true you can get in positions where the back is arched (more for upright positions). But I think the bulk reason is it's being powerless except to receive pleasure or pain I think that makes the sexual connection.

Although it's true too that an inverted sexual position is erotic because it stirs the imagination of new hotter, previously unthought of, ways of having sex.
