Jake Jenkins vs Josh Steel, King of the Ring 1 (Rock Hard Wrestling)
When I first reviewed this match, I proclaimed, "Every shot of this fight is a money shot," and it looks even better to me now, over three years later. This is 26+ minutes of sweaty, beefy, rock-hard aggression from two wrestlers who never were tougher in the squared circle. The chemistry between Jenkins and Steel is salty and protein-rich, neither hesitating for a second to beat the snot out of the other guy's nostrils. This match stands out, I believe, because Josh and Jake both are superb mat wrestlers, who have proved their chops in for-reals submission matches, and in the squared circle both have straddled the line between babyface and heel with panache.

I already have all 16 on DVD, but I bought the download for this one anyway, the company's first King of the Ring contest with Jake going up against the insouciant surfer boy for the best three falls and, one sadly supposes, Jake's final appearance at RHW. The only thing more exciting than classic Jenks mayhem would be hot new product from Rock Hard, from Steel, and from Jenkins, all absent from the wrestling ring for too long.
Always turned on by Josh Steel. Guess it is because he is a part time porn star under name of Tom Faulk. I saw that he had recent matches at Movimus Wrestling using Josh Steele (different spelling), but still the same body. He is very tough and aggressive, which is awesome in a wrestler. Would love to climb in the ring with him for a no-time-limit submission grappling match, or maybe glove-up for an MMA bout.
