Slow, Painful

Danny Duggan vs Nick Blackwell, Body Chopped and Sleepered 5 (Cyberfights)

"Hotshot" Danny Duggan today is bigger and hairier than he was in 2017, when he mopped the mat with sexy Nick Blackwell. While granting that Nick is prettier, I can't take my eyes off Danny, a wrestler I have admired for over a decade. The guy is glacial in his movement and facial expression, more Terminator than human. The slow pace of his demolitions is not a matter of lethargy or indecision on his part. He is chillingly focused in the ring. He knows what he's doing, and he's in no hurry to get it over with. The man basks in the pain and humiliation of his opponents.

"You look like someone who gets the shit kicked out of him a lot," Danny observes, plausibly. Nick reminds Danny that they have crossed paths before in the ring, and Nick won that match. Blackwell deliberately provokes Duggan to anger, taunting him and shoving him with the palm of his hand. Not the wisest of moves. Without a word of warning, Danny blasts Nick's gut with the sole of his white wrestling boot, then drives his clenched fist down to the back of Nick's head. Hands clenched together, the two push and pull. Nick bends Danny's shoulders to the mat. Danny springs back to his feet and forces Nick to kneel before him.

With great effort Blackwell rises and takes Duggan down to the mat, first with a leg bar then with a side headlock. Danny bursts free and chicken-wings Nick's left arm before slamming his knee down on the upper part of the arm (first GIF above), not once but twice. Nick gets to his knees, and with one arm still bent behind his back, the handsome wise guy asks, "Wanna see something cool, huh?" He rolls out of the hold, but in a second, less than, Danny drives him back down, writhing, as Duggan works the guy's wrist with both hands (second shot above). From this point on, all niceties put aside, Danny dismantles his opponent at a deliberate pace for most of the remainder of this 20-minute video.

His gruff poker face and slow-burn style are the sources of his magnetism and sex appeal. Blackwell gets a hope spot (don't blink), but he is nothing next to Duggan, who grinds and chops the bouncy long-hair down to burger. As its title suggests, the contest combines elements of kung fu and pro wrestling. Duggan's body chops are robotic and exact, but it's his headlocks and scissorholds that I mainly admire him for. His offhand and protracted manner of crushing a man's body with his own is the quintessence of male-on-male eroticism in wrestling.

  1. A bit old school with a tomahawk chop and that back move. Looks good. I think that cyberfights has a high level of excellence and athleticism. We need to feature them more.
