No Ref to Save Your Ass

There's no ref, but this is still a fight for the UCW championship belt. So that there's no misunderstanding, the stakes are spelled out for us on the screen. Whoever wins this fight walks away with the belt. Tyson has been the champ since last October, taking on ten challengers since then, including formidable opponents like Austin Tyler and Chase Michaels. He has been a fighting champion, perhaps the best defender since the company's first champ, Axel

Zack comes into this match the underdog, and he knows it. He's had only two fights here, but against tough opponents, Axel and Max Ryder. His style is not as rowdy as the typical UCW wrestler, but he is quickly adapting to the new environment. The current champ is bigger and more devious, but Zach is a straight-up fighter, who thrives under pressure and enjoys the tough competition a big man brings to the ring.

UCW has been around for more than a decade. Its reputation for rowdy no-rules brawls has remained intact, to some extent inspiring other underground promotions to match it gut punch for gut punch. The only rules that used to govern matches here were don't kill anybody and no ref no title defense - both of which have been dropped over the last two years. So anything can happen in this match, and  in the final minutes, victory arrives by unexpected means. Both guys put up a great fight, and, remember, no victory is too dirty for UCW.
