Mask vs Mask

El Fuego vs Cheetah Boy, Match 698 - Mask vs Mask (UCW)

UCW entered the new year with some of its best work ever. This match - Fuego fighting newbie Cheetah Boy, with masks at stake - is a gem, so excuse me as I gush over it. It has everything I ever wanted to do to El Fuego and a lot of the things I wanted him to do to me. And mouthy Cheetah Boy, who is physically a close match for Fuego, jumps into the battle with both feet, making one of the most dramatic and steamy debuts in UCW history.

This is high stakes wrestling the way I always thought it should be. Stripping a wrestler of his mask is the worst thing an opponent can do, short of murdering the guy. And one of these fighters does ultimately strip the other man of his mask. But the juiciest parts are those leading up to that moment. The match brims with UCW's trademark cock assaults (2nd GIF above, 2nd and 4th GIFs below) and a couple of jaw-dropping takedowns too (1st GIF above, for instance). The ball-grabbing outstrips any other that UCW has put out - which is saying plenty - and the body slams are merciless.

Neither man goes easy on the other. Some newbies in underground wrestling roll over and play dead, putting up no defense. Not only does Cheetah Boy launch a strong offense, every muscle and nerve in his body resists El Fuego's assaults - and Fuego does the same in turn. Under assault, Cheetah Boy writhes and jiggles like no other wrestler I have seen (2nd GIF above, 4th GIF below). The struggle is unrelenting with hardly a break for the wrestlers to catch a breath. They choke each other with boot laces (Cheetah's, since Fuego is barefoot). Minutes past the midpoint, Cheetah bites El Fuego in the groin, latching onto his masculinity like a pitbull (3rd GIF below).

  1. My favourite aspect of masks is when they're askew, leaving wrestlers vulnerable and confused. But now I've got a new one to add, when wrestlers leave their masks precariously loosened from the fight. I was practically begging for El Fuego's mask to get ripped off by the end of the match! Not to mention the tantalising possibility of replacing it with a more humiliating jock
