DK vs Blake Starr (Wrestler4Hire)
At first glance I found it difficult to distinguish this 2019 match from dozens of other squash jobs I've seen, but on closer inspection it reveals subtle qualities that require closer study, especially its unyielding cruelty. Blake Starr suffers brilliantly here. Attractive newcomer DK is built like a tank and seems oblivious to Blake's suffering at his hands. His emotions play no part in his manhandling of Starr. He destroys his foil with the complacency of a checkout operator at the supermarket. There's something brutally coolheaded about his attacks on Blake's spine and shoulder.
I like a wrestler who dispatches his opponent in a workaday manner. Such an approach to one's dirty work conveys the cool professionalism of a surgeon or a sniper. It wouldn't be as effective, though, if it weren't for Starr's piteous screaming and thrashing. Blake's noisy and pitilessly prolonged ruination is a sadomasochist's wet dream. I like DK's sculpted torso and beard. So far I haven't seen his other W4H match , but it's on my wish list now.

Wow, DK really does look stunning. The moments you chose to gif really accentuate his chiselled arms. I'll have to keep an eye out for him, especially if he ends up doing other matches besides squashes
ReplyDeleteDK is excellent and he reminds me of Marco from any number of matches. That calm, almost emotionless look while skillfully destroying his opponent. It makes for an excellent match.
