Nero Angelo vs Chad Daniels, Match 713 (UCW)

"I'm going to make this a memorable experience for the both of us," Nero suavely announces at the start of UCW's Match 713. Chad Daniels quips, "You're going to remember you losing." Well-ll-ll, let's wait and see, shall we? Nero is not known for losing matches. He's more a slowly-grind-you-down-to-paste kinda guy, but with the airs of an Edwardian theatrical. The heel finds the sandy-haired surfer's threats merely "sweet."

Though he has prior experience as an underground wrestler, Chad still has much to learn at UCW. His debut against Derrick Cole showed promise. His work here, however, is on the sloppy side. There are the usual rookie bloopers - holding his arms twisted behind his back several seconds after his opponent has released them and overselling and underselling by turns. Even Nero, never one to shy from playing to the cheap seats, seems at a loss as to what to make of Daniels's vibrating palm technique in the seventh GIF. 

What Chad is very good at is looking like somebody you'd want to wrestle. Obviously, Nero is intrigued. How he resists dragging the boy around by his shaggy hair is beyond me. The new kid wears his skimpy blue-and-white trunks like a pro, but he hasn't yet developed either the speed of delivery of stars like Eli Black and Cole or the icy menace of stars like Chase Michaels and Austin Tyler.
