Nick

Nick Milani vs Brad Honeycutt, Catalog 21 - Boys Will Be Boys (MuscleBoy Wrestling)

I like Nick. Quite a lot, in fact. He debuted in 2020, and this is his third match. He looks like 40 percent of the young white males who live in the small city I live in - once dubbed by Vogue  magazine as the "hippest city" in North Carolina (which I think is true, but saying it out loud sounds like subtle shade). Tats, flip attitude, and severely well-kept beards are to Durham what toy robots are to Tokyo. He's slimly but firmly built, and he opens his latest video with a few exhibition-style Taekwondo kicks.

His opponent Brad Honeycutt, also new to MuscleBoy, is a proud "rassler" and looks down his nose at Nick's fancy footwork.  This is Brad's fourth MBW match; he debuted in late 2019. He has taken on big wrestlers (Alex Costa and Gabe Steel) and slender wrestlers (Taylor Reign and, here, Nick Milani). He jabbers more than Nick, but it would not be accurate to say he's all talk. As a bruiser, he's fairly convincing. He takes pleasure in hurting Nick and seems surprised when Nick turns the tables on him.

Nick smiles as he shows off his high kicks and as Brad tries to intimidate him. I don't get the sense that his attitude is directed against anything or anybody. It's part of his nonchalance. He has a bemused resting face. He won't take being pushed around, though. He fights back. And if he seldom suffers BIG, he does suffer persuasively.
