Ken the Wrestler vs Nero Angelo, Match 755, in Oil (UCW)

Early on and for most of the match, cocky Nero Angelo gets basted, bested, and busted by chiseled rookie Ken the Wrestler. By turns clunky and sexy, the match offers the satisfaction of seeing Nero get his ass handed to him in a format he had considered his own. Not least of the match's pleasures is the view of Ken's beautifully chiseled pecs and abs aglow in baby oil. A close second is the sight of Nero's dumbfounded why-is-this-happening-to-me glances towards the camera.

This is Ken's fifth match at the company. He's not yet on the company roster; he's still in training, but he has wrestled most of the top brass - Zack Reno, Tyson the Hammer, Axel, and Chase Michaels (also Ken's tag partner in last year's holiday special). This is his best match to date, mostly because it puts his strong physique at center stage, and anybody who kicks Nero's butt is all right by me, though the conquest is not as convincing as it should be.

Lately, Nero Angelo has been in a process of reforming his image. He has tapped down his tendency to goggle and lick his chops while feeling up his competition. The transformation from wolf to babyface is not yet complete, but I appreciate the progress he's made so far. His arm may have been twisted to get him on the tarp with Ken. The tantalizing closeness of their shimmery bodies must have made copping a feel irresistible - for anybody, I suppose, but especially handsy Nero.

  1. Welcome to 1995 everyone. New week and same ole some ole. Nothing EVER changes with this company. New no direction, same cookie cutter matches week after week after week. If you watched Axel vs Johnny Deep's oil match from 5 years ago, you've seen them all.

  2. My disappointment is that I don't see a decent shot of Nero's physique.

  3. I hope they domt go too far in image reformation. I really liked Nero's wolfish vibe tbh

    1. I don't think there's much danger of Nero's losing that vibe.
