Gabe Steel vs Zack Reno, Match 772 (UCW)

The C in UCW distinguishes the promotion from every other underground site on the internet. The C stands for championship. UCW has the longest, sustained championship in the underground - and, in every way that counts, the only one. Over the years the belt has survived Eli Black's cardboard-and-duct-tape ripoff, mind control, and  three consecutive champions in a matter of minutes. Now Gabe Steel challenges reigning champ Zack Reno - and this could be the most momentous challenge in UCW history!

Zack has been a great champion, the company's greatest. Gabe thinks it's time to retire Reno once and for all, and of all the challengers Zack has faced in defense of the title, Steel is his most logical successor. From the start the pressure is on Zack both to defend the championship and to survive the shitstorm Gabe has in store for him. The battle is uneven and, more importantly, sexy. Gabe is a man-mountain of muscle in sparkling, low-cut briefs, And I can't be alone in enjoying the sight of Zack's curly locks getting yanked or his Ken-doll body getting pummeled and folded up like a roadmap (of yore). Gabe seems to enjoy it, too.

Anything is possible. Zack has faced opponents as daunting as Steel, I am pretty sure; I can't remember any off the top of my head, though. The point I want to make is that Zack is a wily and resourceful wrestler, and surely, surely, he can find a way to turn this battle around.  Or maybe not. Either way it goes, UCW has a terrific champion.
