Scrappy Takes the Bad with the Good

Scrappy is the poster boy of sexy wrestling. For three years his muscles, profile, attitude, and fight savvy have been the yardstick by which I measure underground wrestling matches. On top of the spectacle he presents physically, the guy's a genius of the art and the science of the sport.  Kurt Fletcher wants to scrape some of the shine off Scrappy's image, and for the first ten minutes of this match he carves scarily close to the bone. An inch and ten pounds separate these two men, and they are matched not only by their stats but also by their drive and arrogance.

Kurt has tested his mettle against some impressive talent. Corey "Badger Boy" Turner, Spencer Hawkins, and Joey McCoy have all squared off against him. This match against Scrappy is potentially a career-changer for him, heretofore memorable mainly for his long golden locks and cherubic face and butt. Scrappy is a major obstacle, but Kurt's early start here is fucking blazes, catching Scrappy (and me and probably most MBW fans) off guard. Thanks to Fletcher's shoulder-length hair, this turns into a major male catfight that's certain to define the genre from this point on.
