Unexpected Too

Hammer and Cole are two of the best UCW sellers, giving and taking ferociously. Derrick made his UCW debut against the Hammer almost six years ago. At different times, both have held the UCW belt. Undeniably, there's chemistry at work here on top of the men's ring skills. Each brings out the best in the other. Through multiple contests, Derrick lights a fire under Tyson and vice versa.

The two faced off this past May. That match, Match 767, ended with a nerve hold, the recipient gargling helplessly till the lights went out. This one ends, more humanely presumably, with a tap-out. The fact that the severe crewcuts haven't changed might signify that the two matches were fought around the same time. Maybe, probably ... I don't know.

Cole is uniquely hyper-expressive, hyper-everything almost. His ring energy is half comic, half explosive, as if he's possessed by the Three Stooges, all three of them. He is wildly entertaining and never - not even for a second - boring. The Hammer is more poised, not boring but significantly more clearheaded than his opponent. Tyson and Derrick play off each other brilliantly. They genuinely enjoy hurting each other, and that's always fun to watch.
