Tyson the Hammer and Axel vs Zack Reno, Match 790 - Halloween 2021 (UCW)

We have three former  champions - Axel, Reno, and Tyson - on the UCW mat. The "cop" (Tyson) and  Joker (Axel) gang up on the "cowboy" (Zack), aiming their punches at his ribs and chest, bending his vertebrae backward (forgive the pun), and playing his ribs like a xylophone. The spat arises because Zack has sub-par Halloween treats (peppermints and LifeSavers) and restricts the trick-or-treaters to only one piece of candy each. Axel and Tyson tear through the barricade tape that encircles the wrestling mat. Ultimately, the intruders succeed in cuffing Reno's hands behind him and ram the barrel of his six-shooter into his ... well, you can imagine.

Like most skits, this one escalates the crazy to a breaking point. Excess breeds more excess, with no real plot to speak of and spiraling absurdity. Of course, the real draw is the wrestlers' trim but muscular physiques and their commitment to this, the most ridiculous of  the company's Halloween specials. None of this should surprise UCW's fans, who are used to the company's raucous sense of fun. I have to hand it to Reno - the guy looks terrific shirtless in a red bandanna, a vest with Western fringe, and a cowboy hat. Now my appetite is whet for a cowboy fight.

Despite its silliness, I can't claim that I've seen it all before. The wrestlers put a few new spins on old spots. I found the video enjoyable - a sexy frolic, befitting the spirit of Halloween.
