Gabe Steel vs Cheetah Boy, Match 791 (UCW)

There's a lot of rough give and take in this match, Gabe and Cheetah push each other's buttons and push each other to their furthest limits. They follow a fairly familiar scenario, but give it  new life. Sparkling personality can do that, and these two are among the most sparkly. They are two of the most buoyant and watchable wrestlers on the UCW roster. The action is more playful than combative, not all that unusual in underground wrestling or even pro wrestling.

How many of you noticed UCW's "inactive" list now includes Chase Michaels? I hope he's okay. His exit surprises me because Michaels always brought a level of sinister coolness to his matches - along with wrestling ability, He was a  good draw for the last five years. His departure saddens me. Happily, El Fuego, my favorite, is still on the roster though he's been absent for a year (understandable, given the recent and ongoing pandemic). Gabe and Cheetah have quickly risen on the charts, so to speak, and like others before them, they contribute to UCW's style and popularity. - and the history of underground wrestling.

  1. It was sad for us to have Chase Michaels step down, but he had to move back home to care for family. In time we hope he will be back. And yes the pandemic has kept some of our wrestlers from traveling, hopefully that will soon change. - Michael UCW

  2. I wish Gabe Steel would not do that tombstone piledriver ever again. That was not done properly at all and could have seriously hurt Cheetah Boy. You cant bend someone's neck like that.
