El Fuego Returns

Axel vs El Fuego, Match 796 (UCW)

El Fuego's return to UCW is great news!  And immediately this firecracker goes for current champ Axel. The balls on this guy! But isn't it just like Fuego to shoot for the top? And isn't it just like Axel to put his championship belt on the line? The match blends technical and no-holds-barred wrestling styles, along with moments of chaos. The winner is not the guy who makes his opponent submit, as Axel states in his recent vlog, but the guy who knocks his opponent out with a piledriver.

The moans these guys squeeze out of each other are both sexy and distressingly real. Both these guys are tough fighters who get off on pain, theirs and their opponents'. They grind into each other to make each other flinch and holler. And they bring up the best in each other as they did three years ago on their first encounter. They play like tigers. Comfort is not in their vocabulary.

The return of El Fuego is a happy event. He's taken on every UCW regular worth his salt - Chase Michaels, Austin Tyler, Eli Black, Gabe Steel, Tyson the Hammer, and more. Some have moved on to other pursuits, but their aggressive energy can still be felt now and then even in their physical absence.  None of them expend their energy with more bounce and pure joy than Fuego. (Maybe Derrick Cole, but he's insane.) A year without El Fuego is too much.
