Nero Angelo vs Anton Alvarez, Match 834 - Best of 3: Pin, Sub, Penetration (UCW)

Nero Angelo was there at Anton Alvarez's UCW debut, almost a year ago, and has fought him once in a three-way brawl. Nero is the nemesis of every UCW wrestler, but I see in Anton a special challenger, a young fighter who might bring Nero down. Alvarez has the beef and the knowhow to destroy Nero, all he needs is the right set of circumstances for the knockout. Similar in build, the two are opposites in behavior - Anton is a rugged guy who sticks to the rules as much as possible; Nero is pure raunch masquerading as a wrestling heel. (I speak of his gimmick, of course. I haven't a clue what he's like when the camera is off. But on the mat or in a ring, Nero is 100% creepy.)

Here Nero Angelo goes through his familiar paces, targeting throat, butt cheeks, crotch, nipples, and so forth. Anton, in patriotic red, white, and blue, fights fair, but he can be pushed to fight fire with fire. His relative lack of experience makes him vulnerable, though. Nero can fight a match like this one with his eyes shut and one arm tied behind his back. Anton hasn't a chance unless he's alert and willing to fight as dirty as it takes to get Nero where he wants him.

This match's first half (the parts that are included in the above GIFs) follows the script of previous UCW matches. The action is back-and-forth, the ultimate winner being the fighter who wins by pin fall, submission, or (a Nero specialty) penetration. The compelling question is "Is this Alvarez's moment?"
