Axel vs Zack Reno, Match 688 - Sleeper Match (UCW)

For whatever reasons, Axel does not want Zack Reno to feel welcome at UCW. Of Zack's six matches at his new home, three have set him opposite Axel. One of those was a tag team match with Jessie Lee ineptly assisting Reno against Axel and Max Ryder. Since Axel is one of the head honchos at UCW, it seems likely he arranged these repeated square-offs with a purpose in mind. In this match, the best of the lot, Axel blindsides Zack to ensure he has the upper hand from the start, his goal being to keep Zack knocked out for most of the battle.

Once the hero whose mission was to wipe bullies out of underground wrestling, Axel now is one of the biggest bullies in the business. His treatment of Reno in Match 688 is grossly unfair but, admittedly, hot. In reference to this match, Zack has gone on record to say that he doesn't scare off easily. He has vowed to go as low and sneaky as Axel and will take the man on as many times as it takes to teach Axel the lesson he so clearly needs to learn: in short, "Don't be a bully unless you want to pay the price for bullying."

The sexiest parts of this match - and there are several to pick from - involve lingering aggressive contact, especially as Axel wraps his long arms and legs around Zack's squirming and bucking body. Even when the effort is futile, Reno puts his all into attempting to escape and reverse. What makes watching Reno in action so sweet is the guy's relentless fight. No quitter, even in the hairiest of situations.

Reno has the nuts and know-how to take UCW by storm. Up till now, he hasn't done so. That may be due to Axel's clipping his wings -  or, just as likely, Axel is going after him hard because he wants to set off a feud that measures up to his past feuds with Eli Black and Joker. Only this time Axel wants to be the bad guy. Unmistakably Reno is ready to tangle with this guy for the long haul. He's the definition of a sexy-aggressive fighter, and he shines best when he cuts loose on an opponent. I suspect the day is coming when Axel realizes the error of his ways, and, if Zack has any say in the matter, the realization is going to come with plenty of pain.
