That's No Way to Treat a Guest

If "guest wrestler" Jayden Mayne expected a warm welcome at UCW, he obviously doesn't belong here. The guy's no amateur, though. Elsewhere he has wrestled Austin Cooper and Jake Jenkins, so a sensitive soul who needs coddling he is not. He came to UCW to work up a sweat and kick some ass and won't mind some roughing up along the way. However, he might not have expected to face the company's resident dark lord, Chase Michaels.

Chase has the instincts and manners of a rattlesnake. Physically he's a decent fit for Jayden, taller, but not much heavier, comparably skilled and aggressive. That he takes an immediate dislike to Jayden (and vice versa) only sweetens the deal for fans of take-no-prisoners rascality, which is UCW's house style. "We do real shit over here," Chase informs the guest, by way of warning or guarantee. "We'll see what's real," Jayden replies, adding, "You  supposed to be real?"

Enjoying the home turf advantage, Chase opens strong, locking Jayden's head under one arm then ramming the opposite knee to the visitor's gut. He rides Jayden hard for three minutes or so, until Jayden reverses, clamping the scorpion-man in a scissors-armlock combo. Mayne makes Michaels pay for his sins until Chase decides he ain't done sinning. It's all sweet give and take for the rest of the 29-minute fight.

This match is heavy in tight, malevolent body contact and manly perspiration. I love the arm bars, headlocks, and scissors. These two punks get their hands on each other and just won't stop. In the final eight minutes, I feel the rush and soreness along with them - and it feels real all right. A high kick to the head capped with a sticky rear naked choke settles matters in the end. I hope Jayden plans another visit soon. A scrap like this one keeps me clutching my crotch and taking long deep breaths.
