Dash Decker vs Brock Hartman, Rustling Up a Rookie (88Wrestling)

88Wrestling secures a place among the giants of underground wrestling with this fine new match, debuting Brock Hartman against the iconic cowboy Dash Decker. With Rex Bedford versus Tanner Hill and Chad Daniels versus Chase Lundquist already under its belt, the last 30 days have been 88's bitch! But nothing seals the deal so well as new blood, especially when it checks in at six foot two and 210 pounds.

I love the wiry, slimmer wrestlers, too, but the big boys have been stepping on my heart since I was seventeen. No sooner is Dash in the ring than he attacks the rookie, even before taking off his ten-gallon hat and leather vest, with horsewhip still in hand. For the first five minutes he gives Brock a rousing introduction to all the features of the squared circle - canvas, ropes, turnbuckle. Ouch!

Then Brock fights back - and he's not only a natural at selling the jizz out of every one of Dash's assaults but a quick learner in the arts of breaking an opponent. Dash is simultaneously amused and alarmed by the fire in Hartman. But something inside me said Dash wasn't going to take this lying down. After two minutes on defense, he comes back hard on the strapping tenderfoot, wielding an array of holds and punishments designed to put the new kid in his place.

And did anybody else notice the shine on these gentlemen's chests, stomachs, and thighs? I was salivating before the first round was even a quarter of the way through. I love the cowboy theme, hokey as it is. I love Dash Decker's smirk and confident boy-wrangling. And, damn, don't I love Brock Hartman, too! Brock's a dynamo in the making. He's tough, with a mean edge that just won't quit.
