Alex Costa vs Joey McCoy, Catalog 11 - The Muscle Boys Get Brutal! (MuscleBoy Wrestling)

If they won't let you fuck a muscle-boy, you might as well beat the shit out of him. Joey's off limits for the X-rated stuff, so Alex goes on a rampage, going for what matters most at MuscleBoy - brutalization. The word - or its adjective form - is even in the Catalog 11 title, and Rocco and company are not the bait-and-switch types. For the first half of this 30-minute fight, we get exactly what we expect when a hairy-chested strongman is pitted against a kid - and more! Costa uses Joey's head like a sledgehammer, punching a hole that looks like a wrecking ball hit the cloaked mat-room wall.

Costa is magnificent in this one. More gorgeous than ever, and brimming with self-confidence. He's obviously enjoying himself and the competition. Joey has a comedically expressive style that lightens the tone somewhat and balances well against the Euro-hunk's air of sweaty menace. Joey's lovable mug makes it easy to sympathize with him. However, the boy in star-spangled trunks must not be underestimated. Around the midpoint, he turns the fight around, drawing on his indie ring experience to even the score - weaponizing his entire body to bludgeon the big guy and gaining control. It's definitely something to see. But how long can Joey keep this up? Isn't it just a matter of time before physics dictates that a difference of 55 pounds is nothing to sneeze at?

I'll say no more. Some things have to be seen for oneself. I will say the match works far better than I imagined when I first saw the opponents' names and stats. The chemistry between these two athletes makes it easy for me to suspend disbelief and sit back and enjoy the kaleidoscopic variations of McCoy's plastic face - and, more to the point, the grandeur of Costa's gleaming physique.

  1. This one really does need to be seen to be believed lol. The way Costa hammers this kid's head into the wall over and over is insane. But as you said, Joey really gives him a fight!
