Bruno at Beefcakes of Wrestling launched the new year by posting on Mac Daniels. Excellent choice, as usual. Mac is a classic beauty heel - looking like a big man on campus in an 80s romantic comedy - jet black hair, chiseled jawline and chin, the pouty pucker, the toothy smile, a lean and mean physique - "the perfect combination of Aesthetics and Athletics," to quote his Twitter profile. More like the perfect jobber for babyfaces and local heroes.

I've always fallen hard for beautiful heels. I used to get angry at other fans for cheering on the destruction of such objects of desire, however much they may deserve it. I should be ashamed to admit it, but I still have a soft spot for beauty mixed with sociopathy. Charm and beauty make up for a multitude of character flaws. Mac has the combination just about perfect.
