Test Driving the New Guy

Kal the Wrestler vs Nero Angelo, Match 802 - Stakes Match (UCW)

Kal looks large except when Nero is up against him. The contrast draws attention to Nero's broad, muscular physique. Kal doesn't lack for muscle, but his body has decorous lines, with pecs and abs intricately engraved. It's hard to imagine that this fight will end any way other than Angelo snapping Kal in two like a breadstick. Surprisingly, though, this is not the squash job I expected it to be.

Nero initiates the fray by seizing control of Kal's body, twisting and bending it at will. But then Kal surprises with cutting speed that puts Nero in his place. The guy knows how to defend himself, and his lean body is a weapon. He goes for the jugular, or, more accurately, the balls. His sudden pluck surprises and intrigues his more experienced opponent, who's a sucker for masculine beauty.

Over the past seven weeks, Kal has put his own distinct stamp on the UCW brand, impressing fans and booting up hard-ons.  The guy hit the road running, demonstrating a distinctive fight style that takes most newbies a year or more to develop. If I'm not mistaken, Kal enjoys hurting his opponents no less than the members of the old guard do.
