Alex Costa vs Derek Bolt, Catalog 12 - The Muscle Boys Get Nasty (MuscleBoy Wrestling)

MuscleBoy's newly released Catalog 12 reveals its ambitions in its opening match. With a nod towards a long-ago era, when such gimmicks broadly hinted at something illicit and perverse, there are valets! Alex Costa enters the ring first with his boy Luca Ferrari (who makes his MBW debut later in this catalog, wrestling Austin Tyler). Soon after, Derek Bolt arrives with Quin Quire in tow. (Like Luca, Quin has a one-on-one match lined up for later - versus Joey McCoy.) Quin and Luca are on the verge of a catfight when Alex steps in to part them. Derek gets pissed at Alex for putting hands on Quin. The valets exit, now seemingly more interested in each other than the fight, and the match commences.

I'll just say right off the bat I'm on Team Costa  here, mostly on grounds of who I would most like to wake up next to - or in between. Needless to say, all four guys are knockouts. Costa performs strong against Bolt, who I had assumed was primed to wipe the mat with Alex's butt, especially since Alex touched his valet, but also because Quin's eyes were tracing Costa's sexy contours throughout the opening posedown. The give and take is fairly equal, with Alex and Derek engaged in the usual drill of gut punches, chokes, backbreakers, and crab holds (for about 20 of the match's 46 minutes), culminating in 16 minutes of dick-and-ass-capades.

The valets return in the end, clearly into each other now, and watch approvingly as Bolt and Costa finish each other off. What's particularly sweet about all this is the natural ease and openness with which the four men get past their possessiveness and jealousy and come to enjoy each other sexually. Personally, I would have liked more rasslin', but this stew has plenty of meat.
