Vinny Reny vs Mike Adams, Rec Room Battles 1 (NHB-Battle)

Vinny Reno wrestles Mike Adams in the first two Rec Room Battles collections. This was in the 1990s, when wrestling came to my mailbox in the form of VHS tapes. Vinny, who also made videos as Brad Michaels, redefined "gay wrestling" for me, making it less about posing than grappling and messy and heated roughhouse. I find him extraordinarily handsome - rugged as the men pictured on the covers of pulp magazines in the 1960s, square-jawed, tall, hairy-chested. He also humped his opponents, not so common back then as it is today, and his heavy breathing and grunts were aphrodisiac - I could play his fights without visuals and still get hard. Yet the visuals supplied the great gleaming sweat he and his opponents worked up after an exhausting struggle - and all Reno's matches were exhausting: he and his opponents grappled until they collapsed, chests heaving, muscles twitching.
