Tanner Hill vs Jake Mason, Bearhug Hell (88Wrestling)

Ruggedly handsome Tanner takes on newcomer Jake Mason, who faces his toughest opposition yet. Tanner is mega-bronzed and mega-ripped, determined to give Mason h-e-double-l hell. Mason puts up a bigger fight than the muscle-hunk expected. Booked for a best-of-three contest, the wrestlers soon pursue their private agendas instead. Hankering for the first takedown, Jake initiates the battle, scooping Tanner onto his shoulder and slamming him hard on his back. Rest assured Hill is quick to avenge that insult.

For me the star of the show is Tanner's hairy thighs, which, besides making me slobber like Pavlov's dog. are weapons wielded in stunningly effective leg locks and scissor holds. They hobble Jake against the corner ropes in the seventh GIF above. And then there is the best torso at 88Wrestling, also, maybe in all of underground wrestling. The man is solid as the ring posts.

Jake Mason is more up for this challenge than anyone could have expected. The new guy doesn't wait for shit to happen; he makes shit happen. Even when he's taking a licking, Tanner has star-power that just won't quit, but he is radiant when he is wiping the mat with Jake. I've waited a couple of months for new product from 88, and Hill vs Mason finds the company's sweet spot.
