Dax Carter vs Jeremy Daniels, Catalog 16 - The Rougher the Better! (MuscleBoy Wrestling)

The third GIF above, in which Dax straddles Jeremy's face and drums his fist against Daniels's unprotected abs, is, by itself, erection-bait. The jiggle of the cock and the smooth sculptural perfection of Jeremy's torso are art. Speaking personally - and what's a blog for if not to speak personally? - I'd empty an ATM for a night with Jeremy Daniels. His face and body melt me, and his match this year against Jesse Zane is a favorite. I went into this match thinking I'd only have eyes for him, but it's really Dax Carter's show from start to finish - heavy, hairy, and heartless - in a good way. Until the end, Jeremy is basically a prop - a gorgeous prop, but nevertheless a prop. 

The crux of this match - its defining moment - is Dax Carter's decision, in the words of the MBW catalog description, "to give up his ass to a guy who he just finished tearing apart limb from limb." This is not altogether a first, yet it is significant. Conventional wisdom tells us that "top" and "bottom" correlate to "heel" and "jobber," and we're further told the roles are as deeply rooted as our sexuality, yet here's a 240-pound brute who's just finished beating the shit out of Jeremy Daniels and then asks the man to top him.

In one fell swoop, Carter and Daniels, rather courageously, demolish stereotypes about masculinity, homosexuality, and our individual desires, the deepest ones, the ones that do not fit the patterns we usually see on TV - or in most underground wrestling, for that matter ... or in this blog. I don't want to overstate this, but this turn of events should at least cause us to reevaluate the stereotypes we accept for ourselves and realize how wonderful and adventurous it is to release our desires from the box of other people's (and our own) expectations. I mean, if Dax Carter can bottom, it's impossible to think of bottoms as either femme or weak.

The fight leading up to this moment is as rough as I could wish for, lending support to the new catalog's subtitle "The Rougher the Better!" Dax repeatedly questions Jeremy's manhood, thus setting us up for the role-reversal (?) to come. Roughhouse does not preclude an element of playfulness and surprise. In the spirit of punishment- or domination-as-play, who's to say there have to be set rules? Carter and Daniels are tough characters, but in the final analysis we all get something different from the games we play, and there's no one right way to experience one's sexual fetishes. Otherwise, we might as well be straight and white bread.
