Not a lot is going on here, but the scenery is lovely. From the outdoorsy setting and the sweat gleaming on the wrestlers' torsos, we see the summer of 2019 in full glory. Spencer Slade had made his pro debut just two months earlier. Spencer is deaf and bulgy as a Macy's Thanksgiving Parade balloon. He's got a lot of fight in him (check 2nd, 3rd, and 8th GIF). The college wrestler gimmick suits the former college defensive lineman well. The guy's speed and agility (4th GIF) also impress me, especially considering the bulk he carries. The bad guy, Thomas Mathis, is somebody to watch as well. He's got a hotshot style and loads of ring presence. This particular video is not one for the record books because often the wrestlers are winging it and the camera lags a step or two behind the action in the ring. That's too bad because the match is packed with potential and some fully realized juicy bits.
