Tyler Cintron vs Ricky Archer, 15 August 2019 (XWA)

Ricky Archer doesn't have a Cagematch page yet, but he does have a few videos on YouTube that are worth looking at. The curly-haired rookie has the boyish good looks of Richard Beymer in West Side Story  and a sturdy physique. His takedowns and reversals have snap to them. Here against Tyler Cintron he takes some rough bumps - Cintron is great at those - but the joy he takes in hurting the veteran bad guy suggests a possible future as a heel too.  That kind of versatility in character - or scruples - suggests a promising future.

I'm impressed by Archer, but Cintron is the guy I'd like to get my mitts on. His 2012 match against Wayne DeWayne is still an eight-tissue event at my house. He retired from wrestling in 2015, but returned last year. Tyler is slick even when his pecs are bone dry, but when he sweats, he's a walking hard-on. His listless manner of crippling his opponent reminds me of Dory Funk, who dispensed of opponents while looking like he had just got out of bed.

I can think of nothing hotter than a sexy heel taking on a sexy babyface, which is what we have here - well, a sexy heel taking on another sexy heel is perhaps hotter. This is a match I would have loved to catch live and in person, on the front row. Both guys are well built and tough, and they have only bad intentions for each other. Is there anything better than that?
