Two Sides of a One-Sided Match

This may not be the most profound observation, but it's interesting that 165 pounds can take such diverse forms as Ethan and Scrappy. Ethan is tall, on the lanky side, deceptively soft in appearance. Scrappy is compact, bulging with muscle, solid as a medicine ball. Their attitudes are no less different. Ethan is easygoing, prepared, totally confident in his abilities on a wrestling mat. Scrappy is driven by his emotions, intuitive, and reckless. Of the two, it is Scrappy who appears to take the greater pleasure in fighting - even when he's not winning. He throws himself into a battle, totally un-self-conscious, totally charged up. There's much to admire in him - and in Andrews as well.

Ethan brings the shrewdness of a chess player to the mat. Scrappy is all heart and boundless emotion, exulting in the deft execution of a single hold as much as Ethan would pride himself in a dozen victories. As the NHB-F product description notes, "Scrappy resists, manhandling Ethan's head even as he's on the bottom." You can pile on top of Scrappy, and he'll still find a way to dig his elbow into your ribs. His name is Scrappy  for good reason. Ethan is a wrestler's wrestler, widely respected in the underground wrestling world. Scrappy is a star, holding legions of fans - smart and dumb marks alike - in rapt attention.

This match works on both fronts - technical accomplishment and ardent pugnacity.
