Caleb Klein vs Zach Reno (Wrestler4Hire)

This 2019 match is one-sided, not my favorite situation, but one that's understandable when a big galoot like Caleb Klein is paired off with a pipsqueak like Zach Reno - and the mismatch is forgivable, given the eye candy and the brute energy on display. The candy is the perfection of Klein's embodiment of the archetypal pro-wrestler physique and the mix of boyish cuteness and scruffy virility of Reno. The energy is in Reno's sells and Klein's inexhaustible glee in destroying his opponent.

Ring entertainment here in North Carolina slipped down a number of notches when Caleb left AML Wrestling. Nobody is as smooth and glamorous a performer as he was during his six months as champion here in 2018, where he epitomized the righteous hero and was a neat guy to chat with at the merch tables. He's a sentimental favorite of mine because he wrestled (as a glamour heel) in the first live show I attended at the tender age of 58 (Caleb must have been in his mid-twenties then). He reminds me of the original "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers and Jerry "the Ram" Lynn, two other six-footish blonds of the squared circle.
