Ty Alexander vs Kenny Starr, Jobberpaloozer 17 (BG East)

Ty Alexander has served time as a jobber and fought his way up the ladder to BGE heel, so it's no surprise that he enjoys getting on top of muscly Kenny Starr. And who wouldn't? Ty served his apprenticeship wrestling other novices, then jobbing for old-timers who popped out of nowhere eager to give him a spanking, and then graduating to the requisite clusterfucks and tag team angles. He hit the big time when he took on shining star Guido Genatto one on one. He lost, but the defeat had the advantage of being spectacular. His true turning point was his appearance at the first Wrestling with Pride, coinciding with his cherry-busting entrance to indy wrestling.

Kenny looks too pretty - and, worse, too nice  -- to be anything but a jobber. I would like to see him develop into a babyface hero, whupping heel asses left and right. Time will tell. Here he takes on a now well-seasoned Ty, and he even gets a few hope spots, including a lengthy whoop-ass he gives his opponent in the middle of the match. His toothy grimace and shimmering sweat make him all the more fun to squeeze - and it's very clear that Ty is having fun. Kenny's hurt-puppy eyes would catch the attention of any sadist worth his salt.  The series name Jobberpaloozer puts a cap on how surprising the outcome can be. Starr doesn't help matters by mocking Ty's "Captain America" trunks and shoes, but he wrestles barefoot, and I could love the man for that alone.

Alexander opens with an easy side-headlock takedown. He follows with a little too cocky schoolboy pin, which allows Starr to reverse. I love that they're wrestling in the matroom. Kenny keeps asking for trouble - "You think you can beat me? This?" (flexing his biceps) - when all Ty or any red-blooded top needs to pounce on "This" is the bunny tattoo gracing Starr's iliac furrow. Ty puts Kenny in a series of crotch-sniffing holds before stretching him like taffy. Kenny suffers gorgeously. His scruffy good looks radiate heat and make him all the more desirable. That warmth is most palpable in motion, and the flash still shots above do not do it justice.
