Ty Alexander vs Buck Carter, X-Fights 51: Forced to Shoot (BG East)

Famous for his gear, Ty takes on a wrestler famous for his beef. Buck Carter is partly blinded by the "sparkly" entrance gear Ty brings to the ring. The outfit might be best described as pachinko-esque. To his credit, Ty knows neither shame nor fear. Even when he's used by brawnier wrestlers to scrub the ring floor, there's still a twinkle in the guy's eye that says, "I think I can take this guy."

Unimpressed by Alexander's fashion sense, Buck attacks before Ty is all the way through the ropes, pasting Ty's butt to the mat with a front facelock suplex. He puts his right boot on his opponent's tummy and brandishes his biceps. He follows this with a headscissors that positions Ty's face against the strongman's crotch. Then he hangs Ty off the ropes like laundry to dry.

The humiliation parade lasts for nine minutes, but then Ty seizes an opportunity to turn the tables on Buck and runs with it. For a minute, he makes a good show of it - he is, if I am not mistaken, a more experienced wrestler than the big guy - but then Carter plants him facedown on the mat, sits on his ass, and applies a somewhat more sedentary than usual version of the Boston crab.

Twelve minutes into the 31-minute fight, Buck strips Ty down to his shocking-pink thong. Six minutes later they simultaneously strip each other naked. (Yeah, Buck naked.) Naked as jaybirds (as my mother used to say), they wrestle a give-and-take match of surprising grit and substance. The final minutes see the victor holding the loser in a choke, threatening to knock him out if the guy can't stroke himself to emission.
