Salut!
It's Kid Leopard's birthday! He shares the day with the likes of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sly Stone, Chinese emperor Shunzhi, Lightnin' Hopkins, Jimmy Swaggart, and Fabio. Proof that astrology is true!
One of the cornerstones of underground wrestling as we know it, Leopard graced these pages with an interview almost ten years ago. It covers everything from his boyhood fascination with wrestling to his training with the legendary Killer Kowalski, from his pro-wrestling days (as Johnny DiCarlo) in Europe and North America to his work with BG Enterprise and the founding of the company's East Coast branch, BG East.
In the 2011 interview, the Kid castigates the hypocrisy and homophobia that shadows wrestling entertainment aimed at a gay male audience He also shares his concerns about video piracy, which has taken a financial toll on producers of underground wrestling. Then, to the important stuff, like which wrestlers have the biggest dicks.
On occasion, Ringside at Skull Island has hitched its wagon to the BG East star. Some of my happiest memories involve the blog's intersection with the BGE brand and with its creator over the years. Kid Leopard's last bout was in the fall of 2013, The Contract 10, which ends with an iconoclastic ring-to-toilet confrontation between Leopard and Brad Rochelle.
Happy Birthday, Kid Leopard! Salut!
Visit BG East here.

KL is gay wrestling royalty to me. So much so that he is part of my online name. Sadly I lost touch with wrestling for a while but i'm getting it back.
