Tall, Handsome, and Twenty
Cole Karter vs Joe Ocasio, with Jason Carrion, Full Throttle (Warriors of Wrestling)
On May 15th, West Virginia rookie Cole Karter fought Joe Ocasio. The winner became the LDN world champion, the fifth man to hold that title. Loudmouth former LDN champ Jason Carrion lurked in the background, possibly plotting interference to make sure his boy walks away with the title. Ocasio is built like a cannonball, tough as nails, and fast as lightning. Karter, just twenty, has muscle, plenty of it. Both men are pretty strong in the ambition department, and the match gets more cutthroat in the last half.
Of course, for me the main attraction is Cole. His sunny face seems ill-suited for the bad-boy role he attempts to fulfill here. Big, muscly kids usually get to play the "local hero" part. But in Staten Island, he's pretty far from hometown Charleston. He's also awkward up against a fighter as quick on his feet as Joe, who delivers five poundings to every one Cole even attempts. He gives the upstart a good spanking.
(whew) Cole Karter is like a being brought forth from Olympus. Incredible body. Amazing smile. He could model or act but to show off in the ring is a gift to all.
