The True Snake

Ace Aarons vs Flash LaCash, Last Man Standing 4 (BG East)

Two eminent BGE heels butt heads in this fourth installment of the Last Man Standing series. Flash LaCash appeared in the first LMS, battling Guido Genatto almost eight years ago. Ace Aarons took on  Cody Blayde in number three in 2019. Despite being two of BG East's most formidable villains, Flash and Ace could not be more different in ring style. Flash looks like the bad guy in a movie about death-match gladiators on a secluded China Sea island - all nostril-flaring rage and explosive beatdowns. Ace is the wise-guy, talking his way out of sticky situations, then attacking his opponent from behind.

The two lock arms in the center of the ring, then exchange holds and break free of them. Flash backs Ace into a corner and clubs him with his elbow. A minute or so later, Flash has Ace belly down on the center of the mat while making the guy choke himself. Ace pleads for mercy, an obvious ruse that Flash is too smart to fall for, choosing instead to make Ace kneel as Flash splits his fingers apart. With one fleeting exception, for the next five minutes Flash owns every inch of Ace, stretching not only the guy's fingers but his upper lip, too.

When Ace turns the fight around, he begins by playing the obsequious jobber and then punches the suddenly gullible Flash in the nuts. He pummels the bigger, heavier LaCash down to his hands and knees. It's a 90-second hope spot, and LaCash makes a party of paying Aarons back for six more minutes. The back-and-forth action speeds up in the last half of this 28-minute scorcher, hurdling towards a climax wrapped in a DDT and a few gratuitous backbreakers.
