PAC vs Ashley Reed, Not Just for Christmas 2006 (Real Quality Wrestling)

I like PAC's most current image - businessman's haircut, lumberjack beard, and advanced muscle formation - but here he is at age twenty looking plenty deluxe with voluminous curls begging to be pulled with both hands. His opponent, Ashley Reed, is the typical two-faced hero-wannabe, milking his clean-cut image for all it's worth while doing his best to cripple his opponent.

This is one of my favorite storylines - an attractive boy-next-door villain pulling out the stops to control and demolish his more muscular opponent, only, after minutes of cheap shots, to incur the opponent's wrath and pay the price for his prideful and selfish opportunism. The second-to-last GIF captures the moment that should have stopped the fight, but there is more. 

Ashley and PAC are matched in height and ring experience. Ashley regrettably disappears from Cagematch after 2014, but this is a terrific match to remember him by. PAC turned heel a couple of years after this match, after leaving WWE and shedding his ring name Adrian Neville. He now wrestles at All Elite Wrestling.
