Deno Babic vs Jack Starz, Kamikaze Pro Live #16  (Kamikaze Pro)

In late 2018 Deno Babic closed-fist punched Jack Starz, or tried to, and fell into a hornet's nest. Starz, who has a Hadesian (as in Jason Hades) bad-assness about him, took the bait and gave the Croatian bad-boy a spanking that lasts uninterrupted almost to the match's final minute. Thus, a mid-card event turns into a proper roughhouse.

This might have been Babic's plan all along, or why else provoke a guy he had just shared a handshake with? What Deno hadn't counted on was the bruising the five-foot-six Englishman would deliver, barely allowing taller, heavier Deno a second to come up for air. If Babic wanted a real fight on his hands, he got it.

This is the kind of hot and messy fight I crave, and too seldom find. I love wrestlers who throw their whole balls into a match. The way Jack works Deno - shoulder, toes, jaw, back, gut, chin - fogs my glasses. It all mounts to a whirlwind finish, too, true to the Kamikaze motto "Relentless Forever."
