Chris Dickinson vs Richard Holliday, Beyond Fool's Paradise (Beyond Wrestling)

Chris Dickinson fought Richard Holliday last April Fool's Day in Worcester, Massachusetts. In case you're wondering, the last GIF is seven minutes before the match's end,, so there are no spoilers here. That last GIF is important, though, because Dirty Daddy has a firm grip on Holliday for thirty seconds. I wish it had been thirty minutes. A side headlock and leglock combination is something to be savored. I know I'm not the last person on earth who misses the protracted and agonizing holds of midcentury wrestling. My feelings are no secret. I have certainly grumbled enough times on the subject.  Naturally, the longer the hold, the better it needs to be worked, with the victim repeatedly on the brink of escape until his opponent applies more pressure.

Holliday is taller and a bit heavier than Dickinson. Dickinson is five years older. Both have magnificent mean streaks and often abandon themselves to the joys of making an opponent wish he were dead. Holliday has a car salesman's haircut and a body as smooth as a hardboiled egg. Dickinson, of course, is bald and hairy from neck to waistline. Both wear black trunks, identifying them as bad-asses. Dickinson's has no writing on his, making him the badder bad-ass, I think.
