Kayden Keller vs Biff Farrell, Ultra Heels 7 (BG East)

What makes an ultra heel? The position has been held by Psycho Capone, Kid Leopard, Brooklyn Bodywrecker, Kid Vicious (twice), Jonny Firestorm,  and now twice by Kayden Keller, whom fans have also voted as BG East's top heel for four years in a row. At six-foot-two, Kayden is a daunting presence in a wrestling ring, just two inches shorter than Christopher Lee or Pennywise. 

Heels are not cut from the same cloth beyond a propensity for joy in others' misery and fondness for the color black. Keller's heel image has more in common with Kid Vicious, another fiend whose reserved manner belies his violence but who nevertheless leaves his victims whimpering, if conscious at all. Like Vicious, Keller likes props. In this match a riding crop is Kayden's instrument of choice perhaps for its phallic stiffness or the sting of its touch.

Biff Farrell is as big as I've ever seen him. He's significantly heavier but significantly shorter than Kayden, ordinarily advantages in wrestling, but this is not wrestling, and the question of credibility is resolved simply by showing us Farrell already handcuffed to a ring rope at the start of the video. How this bondage was achieved we're never told. The video focuses only on the sometimes grand, sometimes minute torments Kayden inflicts on Biff.

Keller adds a superior smirk on top of the icy villainy of Vicious. The smirk suggests arrogance and condescension. He's less a vampire or ghoul than a cut-and-dried school bully, more the haughty president of the Debate Team, not the raucous quarterback snapping his towel at his teammates' dicks in the shower. As cool as he is devious, Keller speaks softly but carries a big whip. As a kid, I liked the sly, quiet bad guys in Ian Fleming books, guys like Le Chiffre and Dr. No. Keller projects a similar sense of menace. Kayden's got the type down. Is there no hope for muscly Biff Farrell? No, not a speck.
