Ethan Allen vs Chris Ridgeway, 5 February 2020, Liverpool (Blank Canvas Wrestling)

Dr. L, thank you for the killer link. My man - our man - Ridgeway is awesome as ever in this match against Ethan Allen, who is pretty awesome in his own right. Ridgeway is not the prettiest or the muscliest wrestler, but the guy knows how to throw a good barroom brawl in a ring. He and Allen both hurl their whole bodies behind each punch, each kick, as seen especially in the last two GIFs above. When Ethan plies him with forearm smashes, Chris actually agressively leans into them, doubling the force of impact. Then he headbutts the youngster, flooring them both (that last GIF). There's still six or seven minutes left in this brawl, believe it or not. I love grappling more than most people do, but a slugfest paired with bone-snapping stomps is just as good, especially when it is deployed by a master of hybrid wrestling* like Ridgeway. And what an ending!

* Classic pro wrestling mixed with mma realness. Kinda what I thought it was, but I looked it up anyway because that's the kind of guy I am.
