Ash DeLeon vs Kirk Donahue, Body Torture 1: To the Core (BG East)

Ash DeLeon has been boasting online that he turned Kirk Donahue, who's lately been evolving as a heel at BG East, back into a jobber. Kirk's bread and butter for years was to take one hard, sweaty bruising after another. He is good at it. One of the best ever, I think. Sweaty, sexy, and a raw, dazed look on his face that looks 100% authentic. I like him as a heel, too, but the image of him in agony is just too sweet to let go of. In this match, Ash batters Kirk back into bitch-hood, both with gloves on and gloves off.

Wrestling's my thing. Boxing interests me a little bit - the thick-sounding pow of a punch and the image of two tired gladiators grasping each other's body, trying to stay on their feet, despite mutual exhaustion - these are the most erotic moments in boxing. I don't see too many other erotic moments in the sport, though the physiques of boxers, many of them looking like they were cast in iron, are thrilling, especially in the thick of battle. Wrestlers don't need hard bodies for me to consider them sexy. That convinces me that I'm really more a wrestling than a boxing fan.

Kirk is game for giving boxing a try. Ash dictates the rules. But when Ash starts violating his own rules of conduct, Kirk blindly attacks and does a pretty good job of kicking DeLeon's ass. The gloves come off, and the two wrestle. Ash, however, soon regains the upper hand as a wrestler, and eventually he has exhausted Kirk enough to put his gloves back on for some finishing touches - the grandest touch being to rope Donahue to a low beam and use him as a punching bag. That's not sporting of Ash, but he does put Kirk back in touch with his jobber side, and that's not a bad thing.
