Cai Li vs Derrick Cole vs Zack Reno, Match 819 (UCW)

What the heck is happening in this three-way pile-on? The boys at UCW have forever been borderline psychos, but this match crosses the border again and again and again. First, we have Cai Li and Derrick Cole. Then, Zack Reno shows up, suits up in his clingy slate-blue trunks, and jumps into the fray. It's one against all, but the match's chaos goes beyond what I'm used to seeing, even at UCW.

UCW has hosted three-ways before, great ones, in fact, but this one strikes me as sloppy. Many of the body blows are not convincing, and I need to believe a punch in the gut is actually landing. The camera keeps its distance, perhaps to stay out of the wrestlers' way, but closer up might have drawn me into the action. Physical distance affects psychological distance. The body slams are perfect, though. And Derrick Cole's physique has never been more luscious.
