Hard Fight, Still Pals

Shawn Duncan vs Ray Mousi (Movimus) 

Shawn glides through two falls in a row. He looks undefeatable, not because of his muscle (Ray is thicker and heavier) but because of his speedy escapes, reversals, and breakdowns. Then something happens - and keeps happening - and this is how this match pulls me in. The give-and-take is flat out astonishing. Mid-match, one man gains point after point to achieve a considerable lead, but then the other guy swoops in and catches up.  Then, the advantage tips back over to the other guy ... again! The winner of this match takes it by one tap-out, which seemingly pops out of nowhere.

And the strain of muscle on muscle is beautiful to behold. The match ends up friendly, but there are intense moments when it looks like Mousi could slay Duncan. The screenshots above don't do the battle justice. You need the grunts, huffing and puffing, squeak of the mats, the rumble of big muscle rolling across the mat. Most important, you need to see the split-second cat-and-mouse responses
